Burhan and the Islamic Movement, which hides behind the Sudanese Armed Forces, are desperately seeking any hope, even if false, to change the well-known reality that they ignited the war on April 15th with the aim of turning back the clock and restoring the corrupt state of favoritism and empowerment.
The leader of the Islamic Movement’s coup forces, Burhan, has sought to exploit his presence at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit to claim a fabricated legitimacy, delivering a hollow speech filled with lies and baseless claims, which he repeatedly makes, oblivious to the fact that everyone is fully aware of the true situation in Sudan.
The Port Sudan gang is engaging in criminal behavior by killing and terrorizing innocent civilians, destroying infrastructure, and prolonging the war to achieve the old regime’s agenda and interests. This behavior is directly linked to destabilizing regional and international peace and security.
Since the dawn of independence in our country, our people have been deprived of living in peace due to the violence inflicted by the state against the Sudanese people, who are demanding freedom and justice. Therefore, we now more than ever need a concerted effort from the international and regional community, in collaboration with the efforts of the Rapid Support Forces and Sudanese people aspiring for freedom and democracy, to lift our nation out of the cycle of endless violence and wars, and to firmly establish the foundations of peace and democracy.
