S.L.M. Delegation Concludes Fourth Diplomatic Stop in Germany Urges Immediate Humanitarian Aid and a Comprehensive Ceasefire

As part of the fourth diplomatic engagement of the European tour undertaken by the chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement comrade, Abdul Wahid Mohammed Ahmed Al –Nour , together with his esteemed senior leadership delegation, the mission arrived on 16th of November 2025, in the Federal Republic of Germany. During this visit, the mission convened a series of substantive and strategic consultations with the officials of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and representatives of the Berghof Foundation.

The delegation provided a detailed and comprehensive presentation on the historical root causes of the Sudanese crisis, which has precipitated protracted wars and political instability, since the relinquishment of the colonial rule. They emphasized the critical shortcomings of previous initiatives, noting that these efforts failed precisely because they did not confront the underlying root causes of the crisis. Instead, they remained narrowly focused on issues pertaining to specific individuals and organizations. 

The delegation also shared the movement’s perspective on the ongoing war that erupted on April 15, 2025 war, clarifying its genuine causes and the actors responsible for instigating and waging it. In this context, the delegation reviewed the movement’s neutral stance towards all the belligerent parties.While highlighting the severe humanitarian situation in Sudan at large, as they placed particular emphasis on the acute humanitarian challenges facing areas under the movement’s control, warning  of potential catastrophe and unprecedented humanitarian disaster if urgent intervention did not happened.

In this context, the delegation appealed to the government of Germany, international organizations, all European nations, and freedom –loving people across the globe to augment humanitarian support and expedite the delivery of aid to the affected populations before its late. 

The team highlighted the proactive initiatives and sustained efforts pioneered by the movement following the December 2019 people’s revolution , and that, the movement emphasized the necessity to stick to the noble objectives of the revolution , which include eschewal to engage in negotiations with the military whatsoever, transfer of power to the people, establishment of  a full-fledged , civilian –led transitional government composed of independent figures , known to have impeccable track record of opposing the Islamists’ despotic regime , the conducting of the Sudanese- Sudanese dialogue to address the historical root causes to the  problem, that include everybody , except the former National Congress Party ( NCP) and its affiliates or any actor unwilling to participate.

The delegation reiterated the movement’s unequivocal support for the endeavors of the International Quartet, commending the prudent measures it took to address the ongoing crisis in Sudan. The delegation further underscored the imperative for a comprehensive and enduring ceasefire comprise of the Army, the Rapid Support Forces and all the revolutionary armed movements.

The Movement’s progressive vision received profound commendation from both the German Government and the Berghof Foundation, who stressed their unequivocal support for the initiatives put forth by the movement,, recognizing them as a principled and constructive pathway toward the attainment of a just and comprehensive peace in Sudan – one that embodies the aspirations of the Sudanese people, ensures a civilian –led democratic transition , and definitively end armed conflicts that, has plagued the Sudanese nation. They further reaffirmed their steadfast commitment, both in their capacity as sovereign state and through the European Union, to intensify concerted efforts to address the situation in Sudan and to augment humanitarian assistance for those affected.
