Hemedti Arrives in Addis Ababa – High-Level Official Reception

A diplomatic source revealed to “Al-Sudania News” that the Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Government of Peace, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti”, arrived today, Thursday, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.He was received at Bole International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonnen, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister Ambassador Redwan Hussien, and a number of government officials.Hemedti is scheduled to hold talks during his visit with Ethiopian officials and regional and international parties on developments in Sudan and ways to end the war.The visit comes at a time when Addis Ababa hosted intensive meetings last week for Sudanese anti-war civilian forces with the international community regarding ceasing the war in Sudan, pushing the political process, and delivering humanitarian aid.
