Spokesperson Adam Rojal: Humanity First – Silence on Burning Villages and Bombing Camps is Complicity, Justice is Not an Option

In a powerful humanitarian message, Adam Rojal, the official Spokesperson for the Displaced and Refugees Authority, affirmed that defending human rights is not a luxury but a moral and legal duty.

Rojal stated: “In a time when interests clash and values are replaced, the human voice remains the greatest trust that must not be silenced.

We are faced with a reality where tragedies are reduced to mere numbers, and the lives of the displaced and refugees are transformed into administrative files, while the truth is that every number represents a soul, and every file is a story of pain and violated dignity.

“He added: “Defending human rights is not a luxury or a slogan; it is a moral and legal obligation, and the standard by which the integrity of societies and nations is measured. When a child is denied medicine, or a family is displaced from their home, or a woman’s dignity is violated in a camp, all of humanity is insulted.

“”We raise our voices not to register a position, but to remind the world that the protection of civilians is the essence of international law, and that silence in the face of violations is complicity in the crime.

A living conscience cannot accept that villages are burned, camps are bombed, and people are left without food or medicine, only to be told that it is an internal matter or a political dispute,” he said.”Our message is simple and profound: Humanity first. Justice is not an option, but a necessity. Dignity is not a gift, but an inherent right.

We will continue to write, document, and appeal, because we believe that the honest word can make a difference and restore to the victims some of their right to be heard.”
