Kampala witnesses the launch of a report documenting the aerial bombardment on the Darfur region in western Sudan and violations of the April 15, 2023 war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.
The Darfur Victims Support Organization launched today in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, its new report on violations by warring parties in Sudan on December 1, 2025, which documents in detail campaigns Aerial bombardment on the Darfur region between 2023 and 2025. Participated in the discussion of the report is the expert Dr. Abbas Al-Tijani, executive Director of the Salamedia Center, Adam Rashid, the expert and Secretary-General of the Darfur Bar Association and a civil society expert, Joseph Bekanda from the DefendDefender Organization, and researcher Tijjani Al-Hajj. The participants demanded the need to expand the report to cover all the violations in Sudan has witnessed since the outbreak of the April 15, 2023 war, with the inclusion of Additional recommendations ensure greater comprehensiveness and improve its ability to influence international bodies. The participants also stressed the need to deliver the report to regional and international justice institutions, as it is an important step in the right direction towards preventing the recurrence of violations and combating impunity.
