The European tour pursued by the chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement, comrade Abdul Wahid Mohammed Ahmed Al Nour, accompanied by a senior delegation of the movement, continues to progress with unwavering momentum , as on 30th of November 2025, the delegation arrived in the Kingdom of Norway, marking the seventh stop of their tour.
On 1st of December 2025, the delegation held consultations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway and later the same day, convened with a number of Norwegian humanitarian organizations. This engagement incorporated a broad spectrum of matters previously discussed during earlier rounds of diplomatic dialogue, with particular emphasis placed on the following outstanding issues:-

- A comprehensive briefing on the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan, with particular focus on the regions of Darfur, Kordofan, White Nile and Blue Nile, where early warning indicators signal the emergence of a potential catastrophic situation.
- A detailed account of the systematic obstruction of humanitarian aid and its exploitation as an instrument of warfare, a situation that necessitate immediate regional and international intervention, and applying of maximum diplomatic and political pressure on all parties to the conflict, to ensure the unimpeded delivery of relief aid through all available corridors and crossings, without preconditions or restrictions.
- A comprehensive account of the widespread destruction of essential infrastructure and public services, irreversible breakdown of the national economy, and the severe disruption of the educational sector which has forced millions of students and learners to be displaced from formal learning environments.
- The prevalence of racist, ethnic and regional hate speech, which constitutes a grave threat to the unity, social cohesion, and continued integrity of Sudan as a sovereign and indivisible state.
- A thorough briefing of the movement’s position on the ongoing war, since its outbreak on 15th of April 2023, including its stance of strict neutrality towards all parties to the conflict.
- A comprehensive review of the proactive initiatives that duly undertaken by the movement since 2019, highlighting key endeavors such as the initiative to address the critical humanitarian situation in El -Fashir prior to the outbreak of the fighting in the city, as well as the initiative to establish the most inclusive, civilian-led national front, aimed at halting and ultimately ending the conflict. This front is envisioned to include Sudanese from all walks of life, with the exception of the National Congress Party (NCP) and its affiliates or any actor who choose willingly not to participate.
- A reaffirmation of the movement’s steadfast support for all the regional and international initiatives aimed at bringing an end to the conflict in Sudan, including the constructive initiative advanced by the international quartet (QUAD), as well as the recent statements made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, during his meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C.
- The movement called upon the international community to employ all forms of effective pressure measures on the parties to the conflict, to compel them accept an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, to be conducted under impartial international monitoring, encompassing the Sudanese Armed Forces, the Rapid Support Forces, and all the Revolutionary Armed Movements.
The vision, perspectives and proposals presented by the movement were received with sincere appreciation by the government of Norway and by representatives of the Norwegian civil society organizations. They pledged their full support and affirmed their commitment to exert every possible effort to help achieve stability in Sudan – particularly with respect to peace, humanitarian relief, and aid delivery.
