Ahmed Haroun, the head of the dissolved National Congress Party, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, sent a message to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and said to him: “The battle is not over yet, so maintaining the unity of the national ranks is a vital task for the existential battle of the homeland.”
It is noteworthy that Lieutenant General Al-Burhan said today that the National Congress will not find an opportunity to rule the country on the blood of the Sudanese, and they must resort to elections in the future, and stay away from outbidding if they are patriotic, “and whoever wants to fight behind a political banner must lay down their arms.”
Haroun said in his message: “To our patient and steadfast people, the homeland is more important to us than partisan interests, and it is more precious than to be traded for spoils or ask for a price for it. We promise you that we will not return to rule except through your free electoral mandate.”
He added: “To our youth (be patient, persevere, stand firm, and fear God so that you may succeed).” May God guide the shooting, make the feet firm, unite the ranks, accept the martyrs, heal the wounded, and release the captives… Shoot ahead.
